History for the Future was first installed at the outdooor open lot next to Mooon Palace Books in South Minneapolis in June 2021.

Since then, History for the Future has moved to various partner sites in the Twin Cities, including Pillsbury House + Theatre, Banana Leaf Collective, Wilson Library, and Mixed Blood Theatre.

The History for the Future exhibition consists of three 10x5ft. hanging vinyl panels and nine two-sided standing panels.

The exhibition showcases archival research and original writing on the history of mutual aid in the Twin Cities; art and photography from community workshops; quotes and summaries of five community programs; and original graphic design by Olivia House and Silent Fox of the 13.4 Collective.
